Gissia Castelnoble

B.A. Psych, Dip of Couns., Dip of Child & Adolescent Psych., M. Psych Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Member of the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists with twenty years of experience in mental health across all age groups, Gissia is a dedicated and proficient professional in the field. She holds a Master's degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Western Sydney University. Gissia incorporates holistic, neurodiversity-affirming, and inclusive approaches, delivering comprehensive mental health evaluations and personalised psychological treatments. With her empathic and supportive approach, Gissia helps individuals build resilience and find the support they need to thrive in the world. She uses several well-researched psychological intervention modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-focused Therapy. Giddis is also highly skilled in using sand play therapy to help children communicate and resolve emotional, behavioural, and social issues.

Gissia has launched her first picture book, "The Helpful Star," on Amazon.com.au. This book is designed for young children aged 3-5 and focuses on the significance of gratitude. She is passionate about penning stories celebrating human resilience, gratitude, and community bonding.
